HNDRX is an award-winning creative studio delivering brand and digital experiences for ambitious teams. We work across strategy, design, and Webflow development to build BRAND EXPERIENCES THAT perform.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Mid-Level Web Designer who can confidently take ownership of design work and help elevate the final output through strong visual thinking, clear hierarchy, and considered digital craft. You’ll work closely with developers, strategists, and project leads to bring ideas to life across a range of web projects, with a focus on brand expression, usability, performance, motion design, and scalable systems.

This is a hands-on role for someone who designs cleanly, thinks in systems, and knows how to translate brand ideas into distinct, memorable digital experiences.

Who you are

You have strong fundamentals and good taste, with the ability to take direction and build on it. You understand that great digital work isn’t just static, it has rhythm, intent, and movement.

  • 2–4 years experience in web design, ideally within a studio or agency
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma and structured design systems
  • Confident designing responsive, component-based websites
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user flows, and responsive behaviour
  • A good eye for motion and interaction, understanding how movement supports storytelling and usability
  • Ability to create polished, high-performing digital design without overcomplicating it
  • Solid understanding of how designs translate into development (especially Webflow)
  • Strong attention to detail across layout, typography, hierarchy, and motion
  • Collaborative, open to feedback, and proactive with ideas

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be designing websites that align closely with strategy and brand, helping shape experiences that feel intentional, engaging, and built to perform.

  • Design and deliver website pages from approved creative directions
  • Translate brand ideas into thoughtful digital experiences, not just layouts
  • Create wireframes, concepts, and high-fidelity UI
  • Define and consider motion, transitions, and interaction behaviour as part of the design process
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design and motion translate cleanly into build
  • Contribute to scalable component systems and design consistency across projects
  • Work with strategy and project leads to push work beyond surface-level layouts
  • Ensure designs support responsiveness, accessibility, and performance best practice
  • Present work internally and iterate quickly based on feedback
  • Help maintain and elevate the overall design quality across projects

Nice to have

These aren’t essential, but they add weight and open up more opportunities within the role.

  • Experience designing for Webflow builds
  • Experience or interest in motion design tools (After Effects, Rive, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Relume or component-based design systems
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end build logic
  • Exposure to larger-scale or higher-performance web projects
