HNDRX is an award-winning creative studio delivering brand and digital experiences for ambitious teams. We work across strategy, design, and Webflow development to build BRAND EXPERIENCES THAT perform.

ROLE OVERVIEW

WHAT THIS ROLE IS

You'll be the technical lead of the studio. That means owning quality, architecture, performance and delivery across everything we build - from ambitious boutique studio sites to large-scale migrations. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our designers to close the gap between what's imagined and what's built. You'll collaborate with our developers. You'll shape how we build. You'll have a real say in where we go next.

We need someone invested - in the craft, in the studio, in the future of HNDRX

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Technical leadership across all active projects, from scoping to deployment
  • Webflow development - experience with Client First, Mast and Lumos.
  • Motion and interaction that elevates the design — GSAP, Webflow Interactions, Lottie — craft, not decoration
  • Large-scale content migrations: content mapping, CMS architecture, scripted or tool-assisted execution at 500–1,000+ page scale
  • Custom code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript where no-code falls short
  • Third-party integrations and APIs - Zapier, Make, CRMs, whatever the brief demands
  • Code quality standards and review processes across the team
  • Working alongside our developer - sharing knowledge, raising the ceiling together

 OUR STACK, ROUGHLY

  • Webflow — our primary tool, pushed further than most
  • GSAP — motion is craft, not an afterthought
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript — always
  • Headless CMS (Contentful, Sanity) — when the brief calls for it
  • Shopify — occasional eCommerce work
  • Figma — where it all starts

We predominantly work in Webflow but we're platform agnostic. The right tool for the right brief. If AI changes what that looks like in 12 months, good - we'll adapt. We need someone who will too.

WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Translating ambitious Figma designs into pixel-perfect, high-performance builds
  • Catching problems in a brief and a design before they become problems in a build
  • Holding the room on a technical call with a global client - confidently, clearly
  • Pushing back when a better solution exists, and being right often enough that people trust you
  • Collaborating async - Slack, ClickUp  - clearly and without friction

WHAT WE CARE ABOUT

High-quality work.

Being great to work with.

Learning and improving - always.

Proving what's possible.

Honesty, directness, and no ego.

Detail. Always detail.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of development experience, with genuine seniority in at least one major platform
  • Deep HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and GSAP
  • Motion and animation fluency - you make things feel alive
  • A portfolio of ambitious builds - memorable ones, not just clean ones
  • Proven experience with large-scale content migrations
  • Clear, confident communicator - with clients and with the team
  • Comfortable working platform-agnostically - the brief leads, not the tool

BONUS

  • You've worked in a brand or design-led studio
  • You have a genuine eye for design - you can say why something isn't working, not just that it isn't
  • You've led or mentored developers before
  • You have Awwwards submissions - your own or studio work you contributed to

THE HONEST PART

You'll be the most senior technical voice in a studio that punches above its weight. Some days that's creative problem-solving on work you're genuinely proud of. Some days it's explaining to a client why their 1,200-page migration needs twelve weeks, not two. You'll have autonomy, ownership, and real impact on where HNDRX goes.

Come build something with us.
